Tech-Moms and Google Fiber will hosting an Executive Speed Mentoring Event at the Utah Valley University Alumni Center, bringing together industry leaders and Tech-Moms alumni to support women transitioning into tech careers.
The event will take place on October 24, 2024.
Utah Valley University President Astrid Tuminez will open the event, sharing her insights on leadership and innovation. Participants will engage in speed mentoring sessions with tech executives, gaining guidance and building valuable connections. Tech-Moms seeks additional executives to volunteer as mentors. For mentors, this event is a way to give back, inspire the next generation of tech professionals, and connect with talented individuals ready to advance their careers.
"Connecting Silicon Slopes professionals and executives with Tech-Moms alumni and students is critical for building a stronger, more inclusive community," said Trina Limpert, Tech-Moms Co-founder. "These relationships not only create awareness of the incredible work ethic, drive, and value our alumni bring to organizations but also foster mentorship opportunities. By sharing personal experiences and offering guidance, industry leaders can help shape the career paths of these talented individuals, while gaining fresh perspectives and skilled talent to fuel innovation in their own companies."
