William Kennedy is Founder and CEO of Maximize Software, a service provider for small business owners. 

While William Kennedy attended college in Virginia he would drive 45 minutes to Roanoke to visit his favorite barber, David Coleman. Kennedy noticed that Coleman delivered quality haircuts at reasonable prices, but he lacked fundamental tools required to run a modern business. Coleman had no website or online appointment scheduling. He lacked digital payment options and had no social media presence. Kennedy couldn’t resist the urge to help his friend revamp his business with the proper fundamental marketing elements. He jumped in and helped Coleman create a proper website and social media presence complete with an online scheduler and other modern features. Coleman’s business took off.

This experience motivated Kennedy to create a business out of helping other businesses. In 2022, after having hundreds of conversations with business owners, he founded Maximize Software Company, to help businesses deal with the many operational hurdles of running a successful business – the same challenges that David faced with his Virginia barber shop. 

Maximize deploys a full-service approach and sees itself as a partner to small businesses. It implements practical and user-friendly services such as email marketing and automation; booking and appointments; custom websites and domains, e-commerce capabilities, payroll, advanced SEO, and reputation management.
