OliverIQ and SAVI Controls, both innovators in commercial AV and intelligent home technology, have merged to form SAVI iQ. The new company aims to redefine automation for both residential and commercial markets with the first AI-driven, cloud-based automation and support platform. This merger is designed to help integrators and service providers scale their businesses more efficiently.
Before joining forces, SAVI Controls streamlined commercial AV with a simplified, all-in-one solution that transformed spaces with minimal complexity. Meanwhile, OliverIQ developed an AI-powered home automation platform tailored for service providers. Now united, SAVI iQ plans to expand its AI-driven cloud services beyond homes to a broad range of commercial spaces, including bars, restaurants, casinos, and massive sports stadiums. Internet service providers (ISPs) and security partners can now extend their offerings from residential customers to commercial clients as well.
SAVI iQ’s automation platform is built for scale, offering always-on remote management that allows partners to control, monitor, update, and troubleshoot projects from anywhere. This approach reduces installation and programming challenges while improving profitability for integrators and service providers.

“We are thrilled to join forces with SAVI Controls,” said Will West, CEO of SAVI iQ. “For years, thousands of dealers have built successful businesses by catering to a high-end niche. SAVI iQ changes that by making intelligent automation and support accessible to a much wider market—helping homeowners embrace automation affordably while also empowering businesses to operate more efficiently.”
A key feature of SAVI iQ’s technology is Ollie, an intelligent automation agent that recognizes patterns, optimizes performance, and proactively resolves issues before they escalate. By minimizing support calls, Ollie enables dealers, integrators, ISPs, builders, and security providers to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while reducing operational costs.

“Our platform leverages AI and intuitive voice controls, enabling partners to scale their businesses and unlock recurring revenue opportunities,” said John Dorsey, President of SAVI iQ. “For decades, commercial AV systems have been prohibitively expensive and overly complex. We’re changing that by offering advanced, accessible solutions alongside a recurring revenue model that transforms profitability.”
More than just a platform, SAVI iQ is designed as a business accelerator. Its AI-driven automation and support system provide actionable insights, helping businesses scale without needing additional technicians or complex programming. The platform includes a full suite of commercial AV and automation hardware—covering control, audio and video distribution, digital signage, lighting, and user-friendly interfaces—ensuring a seamless and scalable experience for businesses of any size. The support-as-a-service model simplifies project replication, enhancing efficiency and profitability.

With cloud-based remote management and no-code programming, commercial integrators can reduce costs and maximize recurring revenue, whether for a single venue or a nationwide rollout. Multifamily residential developers can also benefit by offering future-proof intelligent home solutions that enhance property value while simplifying service management.
SAVI iQ’s platform is available to large service providers and distribution partners under their own branding. As smart home devices become increasingly interconnected, many users struggle with setup, integration, and troubleshooting. SAVI iQ helps ISPs improve customer loyalty, reduce churn, and move beyond commodity services by offering AI-driven smart home solutions with built-in support—now available for both residential and commercial customers.

"This is a match made in heaven," said Glen Mella, Chief Revenue Officer of SAVI iQ. "The leadership teams of SAVI and OliverIQ have known each other for 20 years—listening, learning, and watching each other's companies evolve. We trust one another's management teams and are red-hot excited about the opportunities ahead for both SAVI Commercial and SAVI Home in the coming months and years."
Mella went on to say, "We announced at CES 2024 that with OliverIQ we were going with a broad market strategy—not high end, exclusive, and luxurious—but rather a broad market approach. OliverIQ followed a B2B strategy relying upon partnerships with broadband service providers, home security providers and the like. Mella said SAVI iQ will follow the same plan.
He added, "Essentially, we're still in the early stages of deployments; we have a very active and vibrant sales funnel with companies that have hundreds of thousands and even millions of subscribers. Many of these companies over the next six, twelve and 18 months will be introducing these customers to the SAVI iQ home solution.
Mella said subscribers can expect a very affordable, low monthly service fee allowing them to connect all their disparate devices from different manufacturers into one unified app that is brand-agnostic, highly compatible and easy-to-use.
The company will continue to maintain an office in Carrollton Texas, outside Dallas, and in South Jordan, Utah.
