AI source detection and misinformation management platform, Polygraf, is hosting an AI Defense and Misinformation/Disinformation networking event at the Modernist Club in San Francisco on August 16th, 2024.

"AI, Defense & Misinformation," is an event "where technology meets intrigue," say the sponsors, which also include Bachmanity Capital, Reality Games, and the venue itself, private members' club, Modernist.

"Technology is evolving faster than we are adapting to it," said Yagub Rahimov, Co-Founder and CEO of Polygraf. "Defense and compliance fields are feeling the impact of AI. While everyone is talking about cool Gen-AI features, with this event we are bringing Investors, Innovators and defense industry leaders under one roof to spread awareness."

The event will offer attendees an experience to connect with investors, AI pioneers and defense sector experts. It will include a panel discussion of AI experts that will explore the intersection of AI, defense strategies, and the pervasive challenge of misinformation.

It will also feature a movie trailer premiere of a thriller that delves into the world of deepfakes and the impacts of misinformation on relationships, individuals and society at large.

Michael Morgenstern, CEO, This Is Definitely Real

"It's harder each year to make sense of the world and what is real," said Reality Games producer and CEO of This Is Definitely Real, Michael Morgenstern. "This event brings together people looking at the issue from many angles, Reality Games, a fun movie for a mass audience, to Polygraf, which brings quality detection tech. It's going to be an electric conversation."

Polygraf was selected by Reality Games to be a partner and co-sponsor of the August 16th event and as a reliable and accurate AI source detection company with experience and standing to focus attention to AI, data leak prevention, and misinformation. The goal of the event team—Reality Games, Polygraf, Bachmanity Capital, and Modernist, and select leaders from the Defense and Security industry—is to focus attention on AI, its pitfalls and perils, and how AI-generated misinformation and disinformation can be monitored and managed.

Polygraf was found to have greater than 98% accuracy in internal tests, and a study conducted by a leading Data Science and Machine learning community found an accuracy rate of 92% on broad spectrum content. The company says it is the only AI Content detector that accurately identifies the AI models used including grammar tools, and if content was humanized.

In March 2024, Polygraf was named Top AI & Data Product in the 7th Annual Product Awards Products That Count, 2024. The award recognized Polygraf as one of the Best Products for Product Managers and celebrated its exemplary contributions to reshaping the future of AI innovation.

Polygraf's AI Content Detector employs proprietary forensic analyses to determine the origin, reliability, and trustworthiness of digital content. Using this technology, individuals and organizations can identify and expose AI-generated content, including deepfake videos, speeches, and images.

Polygraf works with data centric organizations in several states, including Utah, enabling them to use AI tools without transmitting their privacy information and giving them the ability to define ownership of content rights, and the origin and tools used to generate content. Polygraf's AI technology can be used to monitor communications and content for originality, detect online examples of disinformation/misinformation. In the education context, it can be used to absolve students that have been wrongly accused of improperly submitting AI-generated content and passing it as their own.
