Last December TechBuzz reported on Record's initial investment, a $500,000 pre-seed investment led by Startup Ignition Ventures (SIV) and joined by Frazier Group—a first joint investment of this type for the two Utah-based investment firms. Record is a B2B SaaS legal software startup based in Las Vegas.

Record announces two recent developments:

First, it recently launched its Doctor Portal, recorddoc.com, that helps medical providers manage attorney-patient relationships. The company also completed integrations with Filevine, Clio, Smokeball, Assembly Neos, MyCase, and Zapier.

Second, the company secured a $300,000 investment from a private, accredited investor who sees great potential in both the product and Record's management team.

"I've seen many startups, but RECORD stands out not just for its innovative approach to personal injury law but also because of Kenny's relentless drive and vision. I am confident that RECORD will become a benchmark in the legal tech industry, and I am thrilled to support its journey," said Record's new investor who prefers to remain unnamed.

Record's initial investor, John Richards, Managing Partner of SIV, had this to say about the startup.

"At Startup Ignition Ventures, we're thrilled to continue our support for Record as they make significant strides in the legal tech space. Their recent growth and product advancements, including the Doctor Portal and key integrations, reinforce our belief in their vision. We're excited about their future and remain eager to invest further, anticipating a successful outcome for all involved.”

Record is now working with 44 law firms, with over 500 clients using the app regularly.

Record's CEO, Kenny Eliason, a veteran Startup Ignition bootcamp member, told TechBuzz, "we’re pushing hard on sales, advertising, and conferences, having found product-market fit and aiming to expand our reach rapidly."

The company recently hired its first full-time account executive, Cam Smith, and also brought on its first developer, Andre Hammons, to support the company's CTO, Lucho Suarez.
