Saras AI Institute is rolling out a new course designed to make artificial intelligence education more approachable for beginners. The 8-week program, Powers of AI, is now open for enrollment ahead of its May 26 start date, offering a low-cost entry point into the world of AI with no prior coding or math experience required.
Aimed at professionals exploring career transitions or simply looking to understand how AI is changing the workplace, the course includes live weekly Zoom sessions with instructors, flexible self-paced assignments, and personalized support—all for $99. Students can try it out for four weeks with a full money-back guarantee.
The curriculum emphasizes applied learning over theory, with a project-based format that introduces core AI concepts like machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, and prompt engineering. Rather than exams or tests, students focus on building real-world understanding and practical skills.
Those who complete the course with an A or B grade will not only receive a certificate of completion but may also count the experience as the first three credits toward Saras’ 18-month associate degree in AI. The degree program is structured into stackable certificates, allowing for more flexibility as students progress.
According to Anil Singh, founder and president of Salt Lake City-based Saras AI Institute, the goal is to create more accessible pathways into high-demand fields. “AI engineer is currently the fastest-growing job in the U.S., according to LinkedIn’s 2025 Jobs Report,” Singh said. “We designed this course to be a practical starting point for people who want to understand and participate in this space.”

The course also aims to build a foundation in ethical and responsible use of AI—an area of growing importance as the technology becomes more integrated into business operations and everyday life.
Laura Morales, a marketing strategist and current Saras student, said the program stood out for its accessibility. “Coming from a non-technical background, I didn’t expect to feel so supported,” she said. “The course has helped me build confidence in using AI in meaningful ways, and it’s expanded my thinking about how I can apply it in my career.”

Saras is partnering with organizations across Utah—including Tech-Moms, which supports women re-entering the workforce through tech training—to increase local enrollment, with a goal of reaching 100 students for the upcoming session.
“This kind of program arrives at the right time,” said Trina Limpert, CEO of RizeNext.Ai and co-founder of Tech-Moms. “The more accessible we make AI education, the more people can participate in shaping the future of work.”
