Silicon Slopes Women In Leadership Program recommends applicants be specific about the goals they hope to achieve through participation in the program. They encourage applicants to submit detailed applications that, for example, go beyond stating a specific industry. To help them connect mentors and mentees most effectively, the program managers recommend that applicants clearly state, to the extent possible, the skills desired and the career guidance needed.
For mentors, Silicon Slopes Women In Leadership Program asks mentor applicants to clearly define attributes of the mentee that they would like to work with based on several factors, including industry, role, or experience level. Clarity is appreciated.
