Tech-Moms announces that enrollment is now open for their Winter 2025 cohorts.
Founded in 2020, Tech-Moms is dedicated to helping women transition into better careers and achieve long-term success by centering a lifelong learning model essential in the rapidly evolving world of tech. The organization's mission is to help women achieve long-term success by offering part-time technical skills courses, professional networking opportunities, and career exploration through guest speakers. Most importantly, Tech-Moms has built an incredible community of women who celebrate and support each other.
Program Highlights:
- Nine-Week Course: Participants will receive an introduction to web development, including HTML, CSS, and an introduction to JavaScript, along with exposure to other tech careers that require no coding skills.
- Career Exploration: Engage with guest speakers who are professionals in their respective fields, providing insights into required skills and pathways to success.
- Supportive Community: Join a network of women who have successfully transitioned into tech careers, offering support and inspiration throughout your journey.
Tuition and Financial Assistance:
- Tuition for the program is $400.
- Financial assistance and payment plans are available to ensure the program is accessible to everyone.
Enrollment Details:
- Application Deadline: Applications are currently being accepted for the Winter 2025 cohorts. Apply as soon as possible to secure your spot, as courses start this month.
- Program Schedule: Courses are held in-person on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Childcare: Free childcare is available at both locations to support participants with young children.
- Program Start Dates and Locations:
- Lehi Cohort: Starts January 18, 2025, in partnership with Utah Valley University.
- Salt Lake City Cohort: Starts January 25, 2025, in partnership with the University of Utah - there are still several seats open in this cohort.
- Eligibility: Open to all women interested in transitioning into tech careers, regardless of prior experience.
