Utah Valley BusinessQ Magazine has been documenting the hard work and innovation of business builders in Utah Valley for 25 years now. Each summer, BusinessQ selects 40 young professionals to spotlight. This year's theme: “How the West Was Won: 40 Young Folks Saddling Up for New Frontiers.”

BusinessQ presents the list of 2024 honorees, below.

Honorees were selected by Utah Valley BusinessQ's editorial board, which includes individuals from PCF Insurance Services, Savory Fund, Clarke Capital Partners, Colliers, Fibernet, Nu Skin, Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Tribehouse, and Utah Valley University. 

The editors of Utah Valley BusinessQ gather with the editorial board and consider the following attributes of honorees: 

  • Diversity of professional industries and demographics 
  • Newsworthy milestones throughout their careers 
  • Contribution and service to the surrounding community of Utah Valley 

This year’s photo shoot and event were hosted at Bridle Up Hope in Alpine. Co-Founded by Sean and Rebecca Covey, Bridle Up Hope is a nonprofit organization “blending the healing power of horses with the proven principles of The 7 Habits to create life-changing experiences for girls and women.”

Jeanette Bennett

Over 25 years ago, Jeanette Bennett founded Bennett Communications, the publisher of Utah Valley Magazine, Utah Valley BusinessQ, Utah Valley Parade of Homes and more. Bennett earned degrees in communications from BYU. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business from UVU, where she was also appointed in 2021 as a member of the Board of Trustees. In 2023, Bennett was inducted into the Silicon Slopes Hall of Fame. In 2018, she was named Top Woman Entrepreneur in Media during a luncheon in New York City along with Martha Stewart. Recently Bennett transitioned into a full-time position as Executive Managing Director and Market Leader for Colliers, while still functioning as the CEO and Founding Editor of Bennett Communications. Bennett is a mother of five, a cancer survivor, a former state senate candidate, and a cheerleader for Utah.
