Volition Industries, Inc. announces the appointment of four individuals to its Board of Directors. Their backgrounds span several sectors: construction, technology, finance, and operations. Their appointments reflect Volition's culture and vision to foster innovation and growth and are expected to contribute to Volition's goal of becoming the world’s leader in deploying affordable, independent, decentralized energy infrastructure.
April Little
April Ronchetti Little currently serves as Senior VP of Acquisitions for Realty Income, responsible for sourcing and executing investment activities. Ms. Little has funded billions in acquisitions with investment-grade tenants across over fifty industries. She works closely with Investment Bankers, Private Equity Firms, Brokers, and major tenants such as CVS, Dollar Store, and FedEx. Previously, she served as Senior VP at Spirit Realty Capital, helping to grow the fund from $2 billion to $10 billion under management. Ms. Little holds a BA in Economics from Southern Illinois University and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Larry Wares
With over 40 years of experience in commercial construction and project management, Larry Wares is an expert in estimating, bidding, conceptual budgeting, and construction. He is Managing Director of RM Dalton, a Newport Beach, California-based commercial construction company. Additionally, Mr. Wares is the founder of BidFax and Buzzsaw.com, both of which were acquired by Autodesk, Inc. His work at the intersection of technology and environmental sustainability will bring valuable insights to Volition’s board, particularly as the company continues its focus on decentralized energy solutions.
Rowe Michels
Park City, Utah-based Rowe Michels has 20+ years of experience in equity management, and expertise in natural resources, utilities, and ESG/SRI-related investments. Mr. Michels is Managing Director of Alpheus Water Fund I. He's a former Portfolio Manager and Director of Research, having earned 11 consecutive #1 rankings for Electric/Water Utilities Research by Institutional Investor. He's worked on early-stage investments in new energy transition and water technologies. In 2004 and 2006, he received a #1 ranking for global utilities stock picking by the Wall Street Journal.
Brandon Coleman
Brandon Coleman currently serves as CEO of Cotton Patch Café and an Operating Partner for Altamont Capital Partners. Based in the Dallas area, Mr. Coleman has held leadership roles at TGI Fridays, where he oversaw global operations across 600 locations, and at Dave & Buster’s, where he helped grow the company as CMO. Mr. Coleman also brings insights from his leadership roles at Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Snapfinger Technologies, and Taco Mac, among others.
