12th Annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls Clothing Drive Warms Hearts, Shelters and Homes Across Utah
Bank of Utah, Arctic Circle, and Red Hanger collected more than 600 bags of warm clothing and $8,500 in donations for those in need

The 12th annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls 2024 clothing drive wrapped up with a heartwarming response from Utah residents. From October 21 to November 15, 2024, Arctic Circle, Bank of Utah and Red Hanger partnered to gather winter clothing and other essentials for families in need across the state.
Donations poured in at 74 collection sites statewide, including Arctic Circle, Bank of Utah and Red Hanger locations, filling more than 600 bags with warm clothing and collecting $8,500 for the donation fund—contributions from Bank of Utah and community members.
Gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves, blankets and gift cards were donated to 15 charitable institutions from Logan to St. George, including the following organizations:
- Bountiful Community Pantry
- Cache Community Food Pantry
- Cache Valley Humanitarian Center
- Catholic Community Services (Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank)
- Community Action Services and Food Bank
- Crossroads Urban Center
- Heber Valley Center Stage/ Christian Center of Park City
- Switchpoint
- The Family Support Center
- The Lantern House
- The Road Home's Midvale Family Shelter
- The Well (formerly Hope Pregnancy Center)
- Tremonton Community Pantry
- United Way of Eastern Utah
- Utah Foster Care
In 2011, Bank of Utah launched the Warm Bodies, Warm Souls coat drive to support individuals and families in need during winter.
In 2014, Arctic Circle Restaurants and its foundation, Arctic Cares, joined the initiative, expanding its reach through 38 restaurant locations and extensive in-store and digital advertising.
Red Hanger became a vital partner five years ago, adding 12 convenient drop-off locations and providing cargo vans to deliver and collect donation bins across the state.
This year, donors received a free double cheeseburger coupon from Arctic Circle or a shirt-cleaning voucher from Red Hanger as a thank-you.
Several local businesses joined the effort this year, including Gandy Dancer Mercantile, which collected items and dropped them off at donation sites.
Warm Bodies, Warm Souls is an annual, cherished tradition in Utah, driven by the power of community and the generous spirit of Utah residents. Arctic Circle, Bank of Utah and Red Hanger expressed thanks to those who made this year’s drive a resounding success.
